The North Arlington Public Library commissioned File Bank Inc. to bring you an electronic database of historic photographs of places in the Borough of North Arlington.

The photographs were acquired by the library, many years ago, for the book, A Place in History: a Graphic History of North Arlington. The library also allowed the photographs to be checked out. In keeping with the newest preservation methods the photographs can now only be obtained electronically which also allows for easier searching through the collection. The original photographs are being stored in a climate controlled and secure environment so they will last for years to come. If you need to obatin the original photograph please call the library's Reference Department (201-955-5640 / Menu Option #2) and your request will be submitted to the Library Director.
