About the Library Reference Services
North Arlington Public Library has a professional reference librarian on duty every hour it is open. The reference librarians take questions asked both in person and over the phone: they will provide answers or referrals within 48 hours. They also give one-on-one instruction in the use of the online library catalog and brief introductions to the Internet.
The library keeps a constantly updated collection of the best and most current reference materials available. Reference books are available for in-library use only, and may not be borrowed. Photocopy machines are available for fifteen cents a copy.
